About Me
This page may not be up to date. Check out My LinkedIn for the latest status.

I have successfully defended my PhD dissertation. I joined Google full-time early 2016.

Check out my new book "Lifelong Machine Learning", 2nd Edition. Download/buy it from here or Amazon. The related podcast is available here.
I finished my Ph.D. under the direction of Professor Bing Liu at UIC from Fall 2011 to Fall 2015. My Ph.D. thesis is "Lifelong Machine Learning for Topic Modeling and Classification". My research interests are Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, Text Mining, and Data Mining. I have published long papers at premier conferences including KDD, ICML, ACL, and IJCAI. I received my Bachelor's degree in 2011 from Dalian University of Technology, China.
