April 12, 2006: Scripps Institution of Oceanography builds iCluster with Apple and UIC


UIC's Electronic Visualization Laboratory (EVL) and Apple work with Scripps Institution of Oceanography to create iCluster, a 50-megapixel display using 12 Apple cinema displays and EVL's graphics middleware SAGE (Scalable Adaptive Graphics Environment).
