"The goal of the Flourish Conference is to promote the use and
adoption of Free Libre Open Source Software (FLOSS) by demonstrating
the practical applications of FLOSS in the business and academic
world. The conference is run by the tireless effort of volunteers and
with the aid of the Chicago open source community. Past speakers have
ranged from open source luminaries to respected local figures in the
community. The conference is free to all and seeks to include all
types of people, from novices to seasoned experts."
