The department of Computer Science at UIC hosted a Chicago CSTA sponsored talk "Computer Science is for Everyone" with special guest, Avis Yates Rivers. Ms. Yates is the President and CEO of Technology Concepts Group International, LLC, (TCGi), an information technology solutions provider and full-service equipment leasing firm.
The talk focused on the need for change so that every high school student can take an engaging and relevant Computer Science course.
