CS Accounts

Each new student is assigned a CS account which expires one year after graduation. The login names are posted in the lab and passwords are initially set to the student's UIN. Email cs-accounts@uic.edu for any questions regarding your CS account.

You may use your CS account to log into the Linux machines in the CS labs. You may also use CS accounts to SSH into our remote servers:

• bert.cs.uic.edu
• ernie.cs.uic.edu

Printing

There are two HP Laserjet 4350 printers in the CS Labs that you may use

• Grad students are given a print quota of 600 pages.
• Undergrad students are given a print quota of 500 pages.
