I am a PhD student at Department of Computer Science in University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC). I completed my BS in Computer Science and Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET). Currently I am working with Professor Jakob Eriksson at BITS Networked Systems Laboratory.

Recent News

  • September, 2013: Our paper titled "Thrifty Tracking: Online GPS Tracking with Low Data Uplink Usage" is accepted as a short paper at ACM GIS 2013.
  • May, 2013: Starting summer internship at IBM TJ Watson Research Center, NY.
  • July, 2012: Our paper titled "Tracking Unmodified Smartphones Using Wi-Fi Monitors" is accepted at SenSys 2012.
  • June, 2012: Starting summer internship at Mobility and Networking Research Group of Microsoft Research, Redmond.
  • November, 2011: Presented our demo titled "WiFlow - Real Time Travel Time Estimation Using Wi-Fi Monitors" at SenSys 2011.
  • April, 2011: Won 3rd prize at the UIC Research Forum poster competition for the poster titled "Travel Time Measurement using Wi-Fi Monitors".
  • September, 2010: Presented our demo titled "On-demand, deploy-anywhere wi-fi diagnostics" at Mobicom 2010.
