- XCode - An alternative to DevC++, for Mac users
-
- PortableApps.com - Provides a thumb-drive based portable platform for many applications, including DevC++
- This page includes links to download the latest version of DevC++, including portable verions. ( Select a version with either a 32-bit or 64-bit compiler, depending on your machine, unless you know you have already downloaded their compiler previously. )
- ( The 4.9.9.2 version from sourceforge may also be installable as a portable app. I would try installing portable apps on a thumb drive first, then downloading the DevC++ 4.9.9.2 installer, then going into portable apps and selecting "Apps -> Install a New App" and run the 4.9.9.2 installer from there to see if that installs it onto the thumb drive as a portable app. )
