Reinventing the wheel is a project to reinvent the carillon, digitally. An old rotary phone is transformed in an automatic generator of low-fi electronic music. The music is ever-changing and ever-lasting and it varies depending on the dialed numbers.

Reinventing the wheel has been on exhibition during the Milan’s Design Week 2010 after winning the Milano Green Contest 2010. Massimo Banzi, creator of Arduino, was in the selection panel.

I have brainstormed, designed, prototyped, and finalized this project with Davide Totaro.
