Research Interests:

Current research interests are in the areas of Petri net theory and related graphical/mathematical modeling/analysis methods and soft computing. The focus of this research is on the applications of Petri nets to problems related to the design, modeling, and analysis of concurrent systems. Examples of concurrent systems being considered include (but not limited to) distributed/communication software, network protocols, logic- and rule-based AI systems, fuzzy-logic systems, multimedia/virtual-reality systems, etc.
