This semester, I plan to give one or two lab-type assignments, using the simulation and visualization tool, JFLAP.

It runs better as a Java application than as an applet; therefore I am not putting in any link for you to start demoing it from this page.

There are two ways you can use it:

  1. Run the copy I have installed in ~sloan/jflap by giving the command java JFLAP.
  2. Download and install your own copy from the JFLAP web site.
