    Download J2SE 5.0 (also called J2SE 5.0 SDK). This comes in different flavors, so you'll want to choose the second one down entitled
             "JDK 5.0 Update 6"
    I recommend that you don't select the first one that has Netbeans bundled with it.
    Once you follow this link, you will get to a page where you will need to click on a button to accept the License agreement, then select the first option which is "Windows Offline Installation, Multi-language " for a size of 56.71 MB (don't do this unless you've got a fast network connection at home)
