I was a PhD student at the Department of Computer Science, University of Illinois at Chicago. I entered the PhD program in fall 2002. My advisor was Professor Clement Yu. I received my Ph.D. degree in summer 2008. I joined Microsoft Live Search in August 2008. Here is my curriculum vitae (text version).

  • Helped design the course projects for CS580 "Query Processing in Database Systems" and CS582 "Information Retrieval".
  • Teaching Assistant, CS102 Introduction to Programming, fall 2002.
  • Generated supplemental information for the Author-ity project, by matching publication records between PUBMED and online publishers.
  • Mentained the WETLAB (an open source electronic lab notebook software).
