ECE team wins Memory Scheduling Championship
ECE Associate Professor
Zhichun Zhu, and her team of ECE graduate students, Kun Fang, Nick Iliev, Ehsan Noohi, and Suyu Zhang, have won the Memory Scheduling Championship Energy Track Award for their paper "Thread-Fair Memory Request Reordering" presented at the 3rd JILP Workshop on Computer Architecture Competitions, held in Portland, Oregon on June 9 -13th, 2012. The competition is held in conjunction with International Symposium on Computer Architecture, a premier conference in computer architecture. The annual workshop has been a forum for holding competitions to evaluate computer architecture research approaches. This year's theme was Memory Scheduling.
