Dr. Faiola’s research domain is positioned at the intersection of biomedical and health informatics and human-computer interaction—where he focuses on advancing the design and science of interaction of mobile health information technologies that support both clinical work and personal health and well-being.
Current research projects include: (1) Biometric monitoring of hypoglycemia, (2) EMR data visualization dashboards, and (3) Family centered health information technologies.
