This course also has a UIC Blackboard page, although right now it contains only a link to this information. We will definitely use it for its grade book, and probably that is where I will post additional reading assignments, etc, later in the course.

• The New York Times Sunday magazine, January 25, 2004, piece entitled ``The Tyranny of Copyright?''. (Available now from their web site for pay for something like $2.95; available in hard copy in the library, but, hopefully, you grabbed it in January when I told you that we would be reading it.)

• Unintended Consequences: Five Years under the DMCA, the Electronic Frontier Foundation's white paper (in version 3 when I last accessed it).
