This policy is subject to change at any time for any reason.
There will be one midterm counting 30%, and a final counting for about 50% of the grade.
There will be frequent problem sets. The problem sets will be worth a total of 20% of the grade.
However, the problem sets are really much more important than that, because they are how you learn the material.
If you do not work on almost all the problem sets, then do not expect to pass the course.
Late homework will not be accepted, because solutions will often be given on the day the problem sets are due. They will receive a grade of 0.
