1972 in Vilnius, Lithuania,
although before it became an
independent country.

I spent most wonderful years
of my highschool
in St.
Petersburg, Russia.

I did my bachelor degree
in Hebrew University, Jerusalem, Israel.

|
|
I did my Ph.D. in Computer Science
at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
|
|
|
I did a two-year postdoc in the Department
of Computer Science at the University
of New Mexico in Albuquerque.
|
|
I then did a one-year
postdoc at DIMACS in Pscataway, NJ.

I am now an Associate Professor in the Department
of Computer Science at the University
of Illinois in Chicago.
