BIOGRAPHY
I am a Ph.D student in the Department of Computer Science at University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) since 2006. Currently, I am working with Professor Philip S. Yu in the Knowledge and Information Management Group. I also hold a Master of Science in Statistics. Prior to joining UIC, I received my Master degree in 2006 from Zhejiang University and my Bachelor degree in 2003 from Hangzhou Institute of Electronics, both are in Computer Science.

RESEARCH INTERESTS

I am generally interested in data mining and database management. My current research focuses on developing scalable methods to mine and manage big graphs and information networks. My Ph.D. thesis topic is on scalable algorithm on large-scale graph data and related applications. I have also worked on a few other interesting problems on large-scale graph and information network data, e.g., 1) link inference, 2) community dectection, etc.
