Besides the problem sets, there will be a midterm quiz and a final exam. (One or both might be take-home, or might not.) The problem sets, quiz, and final are each worth about 1/3 of the grade. This policy is subject to change at any time for any reason.
If you do not work on almost all the problem sets, then do not expect to pass the course.
There may be one or two computer implementation assignments; they will count about the same as a regular problem set.
