Xun LuoResearcherOffice of the Chief Scientist Reasearch and Development Qualcomm Research
Ph.D. Computer Science, University of Illinois at Chicago. My general interests are in interactive visualization, pervasive computing and intelligent systems. Recent research activities concentrate on mobile collaborative displays, context identification/discovery from multiple data streams, and scalable intelligent human-computer interaction. Some endeavors has gained early-stage commercialization with multiple patents pending. See my research page for more details. I did my Ph.D. in the Electronic Visualization Laboratory, and worked at Motorola Labs as a research staff member during 2006 to 2008. As a side hobby I am interested in using mathematical tools to model and solve real-world problems. One of the past research topics was financial asset pricing. If you are intested in crude oil futures price prediction, read about this work. 5775 Morehouse Drive, San Diego, CA 92121 +1-858-651-3874 firstname.lastname@ieee.org; firstname.lastname@computer.org.
